Our Staff
Cumberland Nursing & Rehabilitation Center would like to celebrate the importance of ethics, compassion and commitment in the health care profession by thanking our nurses, volunteers and entire staff for their hard work and dedication day in and day out.
Skilled nursing home care frequently begins with an on-site assessment at the hospital and continues through an initial conference and discharge planning. Our licensed professionals are available to answer questions and address any concerns you or your family may have.
As residents’ conditions progress and they move through different care levels, our staff works with their families and their physicians to transition them to the most appropriate senior care setting. Each resident’s short- or long-term care is customized for their individual needs and preferences, and delivered around the clock by trained nursing professionals.
Jill Spurgeon – Administrator
Jill Spurgeon, Administrator, may be new to some faces, but is an old soul around the halls of Cumberland Nursing and Rehab. Jill was raised in Pana, Illinois and earned her degree at West Illinois University. Early in her career, Jill completed an internship with her aunt, a nursing home administrator, and immediately fell in love with long-term care. She moved to Kentucky in 2010 and began her first journey as the Administrator of Cumberland Nursing and Rehab. Jill ended up moving out of state in 2020, only to find that same road leading her back home to Kentucky in 2023. We welcomed Jill back home to Cumberland Nursing and Rehab and feel grateful for her return. Jill welcomes you to make a stop in her office to chat about your loved one or to simply say “hi!”
