Mildred T. turns 98 years old and is living life to the fullest at Cumberland Nursing and Rehabilitation.
“I worked hard all my life,” says Mildred. “I think that’s why I have lived as long as I have. I have always liked to dance too. When I was a little girl, my daddy would play the banjo, and he would say ‘Get up there on the fireplace hearth and dance Mildred.’ As he played the banjo, I’d just dance and dance. I still like to dance.”
Mildred loves to call Bingo for the other residents. She brightens the day for the staff and residents of Cumberland, and is an important part of our family here at the facility.
