Cumberland Nursing and Rehab is proud to announce Anderson Walters as our Resident of the Month. Anderson is a retired Chrysler Corp employee, having dedicated 31 years of service while living in Indiana. A man of strong Baptist faith, Anderson also served in the Army for 6 years, with his first year stationed at Fort Knox. Anderson was married to his beloved wife, Wanda, for 65 years and they had one son, John Andy, who sadly passed away in 2004. Throughout his life, Anderson has always valued honesty and believes in the importance of telling the truth. Since joining our community, Anderson has found comfort and joy in the compassionate care provided by our nursing staff and therapy team. He appreciates the family-oriented atmosphere at Cumberland Nursing and Rehab, where he feels supported and cared for. In his free time, Anderson enjoys playing checkers, participating in bingo games, and attending music concerts – with concerts being his favorite pastime. His vibrant spirit and love for life are truly inspiring to all who have the pleasure of knowing him.
