On March 2nd Cumberland Nursing and Rehab came together and Celebrated Dr. Suess’s Birthday with the Residents. The Dining room was turned into different Dr. Suess books, and we all took an adventure together with fun costumes- Staff got together and dressed up. We had Cat in the Hat, The Things and Horton Hears a Who! There was also a reading of the Lorax, read by the Lorax! The heat in that orange suit wasn’t the only thing cooking, so was the dietary team with specials such as Green Eggs and Ham, Green cheesecake and special green cookies for staff and residents. We had such a magical time celebrating together and look forward to celebrating again in the years to come!
