Hello Everyone! Cumberland Nursing and Rehab is doing everything to keep your loved one safe in the mist of the Covid-19 pandemic. We ask that you not visit the facility until further notice as to not put the residents at risk. As I am sure you have heard, our population is the most vulnerable to this highly contagious virus.
We are having staff members call at least once a week or more often if requested, to update you on their conditions and give you any news we have. Feel free to call the facility at any time and speak to your loved ones or get an update. We will do everything we can to assure you that your loved will be taken care of and protected as much as we can. We have set up Skype, and some other forum on Social Media if you want to contact your family member just call the facility and we will get it set up for you. In the mean time, you can feel free to drop off/pick up their laundry, etc. We just ask your patience as everything is constantly changing. We will update you as soon as possible on anything new. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.
On a different subject, as most of you know, I have resigned my position as Administrator here. I have cherished my time here and will never forget the experiences I have had or the people I have had the privilege to meet. You have my heart felt thanks for giving me the honor of being a part of your loved ones lives for the last ten years.
Jill Spurgeon, Administrator
