When we hear the word “fun,” we often picture big adventures like vacations, amusement parks, or summer road trips. But the truth is, fun looks different for everyone.
For some, it’s a bike ride around the neighborhood. For others, it’s playing a favorite video game with the grandchildren, reading a good book on the patio, visiting a county fair, putting together a puzzle, baking cookies, or simply sharing stories over a meal.
Family Fun Month is a wonderful reminder that spending time together matters more than what you’re doing. A simple conversation, a shared laugh, or an afternoon enjoying each other’s company can become a cherished memory.
This month, invite your family to do something you enjoy, or ask to join in one of their favorite activities. You might introduce them to a beloved card game, while they teach you a new game, share a favorite recipe, or help you discover something new.
No matter your age, there’s always room for a little more fun. Sometimes the best memories begin with one simple question:
“What should we do together today?”
