Hi, Everyone!!
As I sit down to write this, it is with a heavy heart, but a small bit of optimism. We have just gone thru two major hurricanes within a week of each other, one in Texas and then one in Florida. The devastation is massive and the clean-up will be daunting, but when things are the darkest is when we as a nation, shine. We put aside all our differences of politics, race, gender, religion, etc. to help when we are needed. It restores my faith in mankind and makes me believe and hope that the state of the world today will eventually get better.
On a lighter note, please remember that there is no parking in front of the building. You certainly can stop there temporarily for dropping off, or picking up, but you should leave your “flashers” on, and it should not be for more than 5-10 minutes. This is not my rule or the facility rule. This is a city ordinance and we have had several people get tickets lately. This is especially true if you are blocking the mail box.
Hope you all are well and are as excited as I am to see Fall approaching. As always, feel free to contact me or anyone at the facility, with suggestions, concerns, etc.
